wynd – The Community for Live Wind Data!

wynd is a community project helping water sports enthusiasts worldwide check live wind conditions at their favorite spots through a single app. Instead of tediously searching through individual wind stations, wynd provides a real-time overview of all relevant spots.

The idea for wynd came from my own passion for water sports. I'm Johannes, a kitesurfer, wingfoiler, and digital nomad. While traveling to the world's best spots – from Brazil to Mauritius, Mallorca, and Egypt – I often spent hours searching for wind information. This experience inspired me to create a simple and efficient solution: wynd.

Our mission is to make access to precise and current wind data easier for water sports enthusiasts. Using cutting-edge technology and a user-friendly app, we visualize live data and make it accessible to everyone.
