wynd – Die Community für Live-Winddaten!

wynd ist ein Communityprojekt, das Wassersportlern weltweit dabei hilft, vor ihrer Session den Livewind von ihren Lieblingsspots in einer App zu checken. Statt einzelne Windstationen mühsam zu durchsuchen, liefert wynd eine Übersicht aller relevanten Spots in Echtzeit.

The idea for wynd came from my own passion for water sports. I'm Johannes, a kitesurfer, wingfoiler, and digital nomad. While traveling to the world's best spots – from Brazil to Mauritius, Mallorca, and Egypt – I often spent hours searching for wind information. This experience inspired me to create a simple and efficient solution: wynd.

Our mission is to make access to precise and current wind data easier for water sports enthusiasts. Using cutting-edge technology and a user-friendly app, we visualize live data and make it accessible to everyone.
